Charles “Nick” Whiston, NEBB, CT, FPA
Associate Principal
Nick Whitson is the Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Manager Cogent Commissioning and is responsible for coordinating TAB project flow, scheduling, testing, project reporting, and project quality control. Nick has over 10 years in the TAB services industry.
Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA in 2012. Following graduation, he immediately moved to the Houston area to start a career in TAB. Early in his career he was identified as both a thorough and involved person, and as such, he was appointed to multiple roles. These roles included control sequence verification committees, instrument calibration committees, new equipment testing procedure committees, as well as being responsible for career fairs.
Nick currently holds multiple certifications, including Level 2 Vibration Analysis, NEBB TAB CT and NEBB Cx CP. His TAB and Cx experience includes K-12, Higher Education, Clean Rooms, Clean Room Facilities, Medical, Municipal including Jails, Sports Stadiums and Office Facilities. These projects span from mechanical remodels, mechanical troubleshooting to new construction facilities.
